"Richard Godfrey is a potter, based in the idyllic setting of the South Devon coast, with a studio overlooking the sea. The surrounding coastline is the main source of inspiration for Richard’s work. He has a large collection of found objects gleaned from the high tide line, and draws and photograph the coast extensively. Richard is also inspired by the patterns of colour and tone in the hedgerows and by smaller details like butterfly and moth wings, insects and wild flowers."
